I. Overview
Y-type filters are filtration devices necessary for hydraulic control valves and precision, easily clogged mechanical products. They are typically installed at the inlet of hydraulic control valves and other equipment to prevent particulate impurities from entering the passage, causing blockage, and causing valve or other equipment malfunction. Y-type filters have a simple structure, low flow resistance, and can remove dirt online without disassembly. Y-type telescopic rod filters also feature adjustable installation length and easy installation and removal. The mesh size of the filter screen can be set as needed, typically ranging from 18-30 mesh for water, 40-100 mesh for steam, and 100-480 mesh for oil.
